Bhutan: The Land of the Thunder Dragon!

My most recent trip to Bhutan's Thimphu and Paro was stunning. So I decided to write a blog about the tour. Before my trip to Bhutan, I knew nothing about the country other than the fact that it is still ruled by a king. But once I arrived, I understood that Bhutan is much more than just the country with the happiest people and beautiful landscapes. I fell in love with the country during my 4-days trip.

Bhutan is known for having one of the most dangerous airports in the world, only 8 licensed pilots are permitted to land at the Paro airport worldwide. So, I choose to go by road using India-Bhutan boarder. It was rather simple to enter the city of harmony because I had a on arrival visa. My accommodation was close to the Mahabodhi Temple, so I could observe their religious ceremony from a very close distance. Even though my hotel was adjacent to the well-known temple, the price was fairly affordable, and the staff was really kind too. Liza and Tommy, two cuddly huskies, were the hotel's pets. Near the hotel, there used to be a restaurant serving Indian food. My favorite dishes were the dal-makhni, roti, and their special chicken-curry. I still can not forget the taste of the chicken-curry. I packed my camera when I left Dhaka, and it was one of my greatest choices. Let me tell you why!!!

I fell in love with cinematography after getting to the Tiger's nest. I made my first video after becoming overly fascinated by the camera's shutter-speed, iso, and exposure. I exactly knew what makes a video a masterpiece of cinematography. I combined a happy Bhutanese song with hyper-lapse, time-lapse, abrupt cuts, whoosh sound effects, and other techniques. The Tiger's Nest, Bhutan National Museum, Chimi Lhakhang, Jakar Dzong, Gangteng Monastery, and other attractions were among the destinations I visited. However, visiting the national museum caused me to reconsider Bhutan's history.

On my final day, I visited a five-star hotel called Radison. I was astonished by the hilly decoration the hotel featured. Unimaginable variety of cuisine was offered. Even though it seemed like an eternity, I finally saw my Bangladeshi food after 6 days. However, I must admit that their dessert was unique; I had never had anything like that before. I gazed at Bhutan's stunning night sky after finishing my last meal, saying good-bye to the tour, which felt to me like a fairy tale.
