"ChatGPT must be banned!!"

                             "ChatGPT must be banned!!"

Firstly, it is important to note that ChatGPT is an artificial intelligence chatbot that has been shown to occasionally provide inaccurate information. Initially, the dissemination of inaccurate or false information can be a significant challenge for pupils. According to Tangermann's survey (2023), as cited in Futurism, a significant majority of pupils, specifically 89 percent, utilize Chatgpt for their academic work. For instance, those who employ Chatgpt as a tool for educational purposes, such as learning, conducting research, and completing assignments, would experience dissatisfaction in the event of receiving inaccurate information. The provision of inaccurate information by chatbots can result in students experiencing perplexity, developing erroneous views, and making incorrect judgments in relation to academic matters. The BT (Big Think) research states that Chatgpt offers a variety of replies, including truthful, false, relevant, irrelevant, and incongruent, when posed with inquiries related to physics (Leinbach, 2023).

Consequently, students who heavily rely on ChatGPT see a decline in their ability to engage in critical thinking. Additionally, it is possible for students to have confusion when utilizing ChatGPT, as there are instances where it may provide inaccurate information. This can result in feelings of dissatisfaction and a diminished trust in technological advancements. Students who predominantly depend on chatbots may encounter a plethora of inaccurate information, hence instilling skepticism in their trust in chatbots and artificial intelligence (AI). This might potentially result in a loss of faith in ChatGPT.
Additionally, students who rely on ChatGPT often encounter a significant time burden due to the integration of both accurate and inaccurate information. The reliability of Chatgpt as an information source has been questioned in a paper published by Towards Data Science (TDS) (Ackerson, 2023). Due to its occasional provision of inaccurate information. This phenomenon has the potential to generate feelings of irritation and hinder the effectiveness of pupils' efforts. In summary, it is imperative to advocate for the prohibition of Chatgpt due to its propensity to generate perplexity, disseminate erroneous data, and engender unproductive time consumption by leading individuals astray.
